The progression of a flower from seed to bloom, depicted through converging circles, guided the design of these custom pieces for the restaurant and lounge project.
CUSTOM WALL DESIGN
This simple elevator facade depicting the subtle notion of a seed was one of the most popular aspects of my hotel design when the project was assessed by my professors. The elevator displaying the hotel’s logo on the back wall was also custom designed. Each of these components played with the contrast between natural and industrial, one of the motifs of the hotel design.
CUSTOM FURNITURE
As part of the restaurant project, I designed a custom maître d’ stand for the Aster Restaurant and Lounge. It provided for the needs of the restaurant staff, while also fitting in with the flower concept of the restaurant and lounge. The resulting design is functional, yet sophisticated.
